It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

As you may remember, in May, my much-greener-thumbed husband and I began the Great Pumpkin Project.  Since then, we have diligently watered, fed and cared for the pumpkins (and by "we" I really mean Scott.  But, hey, I talked to them on a regular basis and even weeded! That's got to count for something!)  And now, 5 months later, we are able to enjoy the (quite literal) fruits of our labor! 

This is just a small sampling of our gourd haul!



In total, we wound up with 9 pumpkins and close to 100 gourds. 

The pumpkins and gourds are incredible! It's a darn good thing there isn't a horror film called the Night of the Living Gourd or something, or I'd be worried.
